Fate of Soil Residual Fertilizer-15N as Affected by Different Drip Irrigation Regimes

چکیده

Soil residual N is a potential factor threatening the environment, but it also an fertilizer resource. Few studies have evaluated fate of soil under agronomic practice. The objective this study was to investigate distribution and its possible influencing factors with different irrigation regimes. Under three situations created by previous season using 15N labeled urea, we employed lettuce as plant material lower limits drip including 75% (DR1), 65% (DR2), 55% (DR3) accounting for field water capacity experimental treatments. A furrow treatment (FI) same regime DR2 used control. Results showed that 2.1–4.8% from absorbed succeeding lettuce, 78.0–84.4% still remained in 0–80 cm soil, 10.9–20.0% unaccounted for. After harvest lettuces, mainly existed mineral form. Moreover, reuse efficiency for15N positively correlated total amount (p < 0.01) 0.01). overall results indicated appropriate (DR2) conducive promoting absorption crop.

Yield and Qualitative Traits of Sesame as Affected by Irrigation Interval, N Fertilizer and Superabsorbent

In order to study the effect of irrigation interval, N fertilizer and superabsorbent on yield and qualitative traits of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.), a split-split-plot experiment was coducted in a farm in Khusf of Birjand, Iran in 2009 on the basis of a Randomized Complete Block Design. The main plot was devoted to irrigation interval at three levels of 6, 12 and 18 days, the sub-plot was devot...

Effects of Irrigation Water Quality on the Recovery of 15N- Fertilizer by Sorghum in Field Study

15N-labeled fertilizer was applied to Sorghum at different rates (0, 100 kg N.ha -1 ) to 1m2 microplots and with two kind of water (well water “WW” and treated wastewater “TWW”) to Sorghum grown in field during 1997 and 1999. Increases in DM production, N uptake and 15 NRF were observed with TWW. About 17% and 36% of the 15Nfertilizer were recovered in the crop with TWW in 1997 and 1999, respec...

The fates of 15N-labeled fertilizer in a wheat–soil system as influenced by fertilization practice in a loamy soil

Appropriate fertilization practice is crucial to achieve maximum wheat grain yield with minimum nitrogen (N) loss. A field 15N micro-plot experiment was conducted to determine the effects of application methods [split application (SA) and band application (BA)] and N rates (60, 150 and 240 kg ha-1) on the wheat grain yield, urea-15N fate and N efficiency in Jiangyan County, China. At high N rat...

Effects of salinity and irrigation water management on soil and tomato in drip irrigation

In this research, the effects of irrigation with saline and fresh water through drip irrigation method and using two irrigation management strategies: M1, M2 (M1 is irrigation with fresh water in alternative with saline water, M2 is saline water in first half time of each irrigation event and fresh water in the second half), on the yield, water productivity (WP), soil salinity, plant height...
